2003 Chateau des Tourettes “Endes 56” Rouge

“Endes 56” is 100% Grenache (from vines planted in 1956) and overflows with spicy notes of black pepper, wild herbs and a full, chewy mouth of red fruit. Opulent and rich, it lingers longer than a lavender-perfumed Provençal sunset, with delicious hues of dried cherries and cranberries. A noble Grenache that shows all the ripeness of a classic Châteauneuf with the freshness and balance of a Northern Rhône.

2003 Les Tourettes "Coteau de Truci" Vin de Pays de Vaucluse

A full-bodied, Châteauneuf-du-Pape look-alike wrapped in the freshness of high-altitude Provençal spice. Make this muscular cuvée your red meat wine, and grab a case for the next barbecue.

2004 Chateau des Tourettes Vin de Pays Rouge “Grenache d’Endes”

We were blown over by this fruit typhoon, a sweet barrage of succulent boysenberries and plums, raspberries and cherries. Abundantly rich and overwhelmingly seductive, the “Grenache d'Endes” is fit for kings but won't make you a pauper in the process. Utterly fresh and vibrant, this is pure, high-altitude Grenache. Outstanding. Screw cap.

2004 Verget du Sud Côtes de Luberon Rouge

A bountiful blend of Grenache and Syrah, as only the higher altitudes of the Luberon can capture. Plenty of spicy garrigue notes mixed with red/black berries on the nose and mouth. Peppery and vibrant. Screw cap.

2004 Verget du Sud Vin de Pays Blanc

A lush, brisk blend of Marsanne and Roussanne, this wine typifies all that is wonderful about white Rhône wines—without the high price. Spring flowers and honeydew perfumes show on the nose; a juicy mouth of pear, apricot and bright minerals energy is invigorating.

2005 Verget du Sud Vin de Pays du Vaucluse Grenache/Cabernet Sauvignon d’Endes

A perfect marriage of creamy, spicy Grenache with the garrigue-laced bite of southern Cabernet Sauvignon. Crisp, ruby-inspired fruit with plenty of baking spices on the nose and palate. High-altitude vineyards delivers the utmost in freshness and vibrant fruit.

2005 Verget du Sud Vaucluse Grenache/Syrah

A powerfully structured red with all the force of rustic southern France combined with a balance and freshness that is striking. Currants and cranberries combine on the tongue; notes of garrigue wind along the finish. Best when decanted for at least an hour before enjoying.

2005 Verget du Sud Vin de Pays du Vaucluse Petite Syrah d’Endes

Spicy and supple--this captures the classic spirit of Côte Rôtie in a "petite" package, but isn't stingy with its healthy helping of black pepper spice. Structured yet lush black and red berries pop in the mouth.

2005 Chateau Tourettes Vin de Pays "Grande Rouge-Plateau de l’Aigle"

Winemaker Jean-Marie Guffens' great blend of southern French varietals is a blockbuster in 2005. A remarkable year for concentrated, powerful and cellar-worthy reds across the region, this "grande" cuvée makes us wonder if it should really be better labeled as a Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Aromatic, structured and very juicy; great length.

2006 Verget du Sud Vin de Pays Vaucluse Grenache

Summer in a bottle. This 100% high-altitude Grenache from the heart of the Luberon has it all--great spice, juicy fruit and serious drinkability. Serve slightly chilled and you're instantly transported to the south of France. Delicious.

2006 Verget du Sud Vin de Pays Vaucluse Syrah d’Endes

Another stunning Syrah with the soul of Côte Rôtie but the instant drinkability of supple, juicy southern Syrah. The "Endes" vineyard is one of winemaker Jean-Marie Guffens' high-altitude vineyards in the Luberon; needless to say the grapes he harvests here are always perfectly balanced, mineral-bright and seductively ripe. A dynamite wine!

2007 Verget du Sud Vin de Pays Vaucluse Rosé de Syrah

A knock-out rosé that captures everything you could want in a dry, refreshing and thirst-quenching summer quaffer. At 12.5 percent alcohol, this Syrah rosé hits the sweet spot. A raspberry bomb, with lively white pepper and lovely candied lemons on the aromatic nose. Captivating flavors of blood peaches and red currants show outstanding balance and freshness.
